Louise King, pianist, received critical acclaim for her performances as a chamber musician and soloist.  She has performed with the Contemporary Chamber Music Group of New York, the New Repertory Ensemble, and she appeared at Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, Merkin Goodman Hall and the Maison Francaise at New York University.  Tours throughout the United States featured music festivals in several states and with her sister, toured as a piano duo team.  Louise has performed on Radio Bavaria, New York's XQXR's Listening Room and she recorded solo piano music for the University Music Education Series.  Her training is from European and American music academies with diplomas from the St. Cecilia Academy of Music in Rome.  She studied with the late Nadia Reisenberg at the Juilliard School of Music and she has accompanied top soloists such as 'cellist Stephen Kates and violinist Stanley Ritchie in addition to having concertized with soprano Hildegarde Behrens and other soloists from the Metropolitan Opera. Louise currently is an active performing solo artist, is a member of the Southern California Chamber Soloists and she maintains a busy piano studio.
