Sharon Cooper, Violin II, is an active freelance musician with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music from Stanford University where she was a student of David Abel. Other coaches have been Jenny Rudin, Russell Cantor & Kathleen Lenski. Ms. Cooper has performed throughout California, Europe, & Australia in numerous chamber ensembles, recitals, orchestras, & in civic events. She’s been a featured soloist with the Palo Alto Chamber Orchestra, the Santa Susana Symphony, the Valley Symphony, the New Valley Symphony, Symphony of the Canyons, Crestmoor Symphony, Moorpark Symphony, the Santa Maria Philharmonic, Grace Baptist Church Ministry Orchestra & KQED Public TV (San Francisco).
Ms. Cooper is Concertmistress of the Cabrillo Music Theater, Santa Maria Philharmonic, Moorpark Symphony & the Valley Symphony. Ms. Cooper has appeared on KCET, the TV show called BOSTON PUBLIC, & the movie Fantasia 2000. She can be heard on TV/movie soundtracks & many pop, chamber, Big Band, Christian & world music recordings.
